Kendrick Peak is one of the dominant mountains of northern Arizona, rising to approximately 10,424 feet (3,177 meters) northwest of Flagstaff. π Where Is Kendrick Peak?
Kendrick Peak rises approximately 20 miles northwest of Flagstaff in northern Arizona. It stands between the city of Flagstaff and the community of Williams, near the eastern edge of Kaibab National Forest.
The mountain occupies part of the broad Coconino Plateau, a high section of the much larger Colorado Plateau. Much of the surrounding country already lies between 7,000 and 8,000 feet above sea level, yet Kendrick rises another 2,000 feet or more above the plateau.
