Pico de Humboldt is a high volcanic summit on the rim of Nevado de Toluca in central Mexico. Rising to approximately 4,480 meters (14,698 feet), it stands above the remarkable crater lakes of Lago del Sol and Lago de la Luna within the mountainous State of Mexico.
Although Pico de Humboldt is not the highest point of the Nevado de Toluca massif, it forms a distinct summit along the volcano’s rugged crater rim.
