Glittertind

Glittertind is located in the spectacular Jotunheimen National Park, where visitors can enjoy local wildlife, including reindeer, and beautiful glaciers. And the mountain is easily accessible from both Spiterstulen lodge and Glitterheim lodge. It draws crowds of hikers, almost as many as Norway’s highest peak, Galdhøpiggen, also located in the area.

The mountain is located in the town of Lom, and it sits in the beautiful Jotunheimen National Park.

First Ascent: 1841 by Harald Nicolai Storm Wergeland and Hans Sletten

Fun Fact: Glittertind is the second highest peak in Norway, just slightly lower than Galdhøpiggen.
